Hall Fuels has been in business for over 50 years, for a majority of which we have been branded as an Esso Distributor. Throughout this time there have been many changes within the oil industry and we have adapted our business strategies to meet these requirements. Some changes have been legislative and others as a reaction to the market place we trade in.

Like all oil distributors Hall Fuels was originally established to supply the domestic market with heating oil. Primarily as a London based distributor, throughout the 80s and early 90s, we saw a large downturn in the demand for domestic heating oil. In addition to this trend the major oil companies shed their smaller commercial business, including small drop deliveries, for example to sites.

In January 1997 Hall Fuels changed its strategy and philosophy to become a non-domestic oil distributor, with all efforts being focused on the commercial sector.

Since then we have built our portfolio of customers within the commercial sector and in particular we have strong links in the construction industry.

As we concentrate on commercial business only you can be assured that our delivery service will remain consistent 12 months of the year. We do not favour the business of the domestic market during the winter months. We believe that delivering to both segments of the market compromises service levels.

Hall Fuels have grown significantly over the last 12 years, however, we still have the same philosophy towards ‘the personal approach’.  You will always be answered directly by a team member on the phone, there is NO call centre, NO switchboard and NO multi-choice numbers to dial, you are never a number always an individual.

Hall Fuels pride themselves on retaining their long-term employees in ALL roles within the company. This allows the in-house company training scheme to focus ALL staff on a personal, flexible and professional approach for each individual customer.

Both the Sales and Transport staff are based in the same office. This allows for quick and efficient communication to take place should you have any enquiries.

We are regularly complimented on our Tanker Drivers who are all dedicated employees of the Hall Fuels team and are not sub-contracted. All drivers receive rigorous training, both on loading and discharging of their vehicles, from both a Health and Safety and Environmental perspective.
